Job Description

Chef 
Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
  • Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
  • Handle and store ingredients and food
  • Ensure food is hygienically stored and food storage areas are kept clean.
  • Ordering stock in line with requirements, keeping accounts and budget control.
  • Maintaining correct stock levels, ensuring stock rotation and ensuring all stocks are clearly labeled to include expiry dates.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment are cleaned before and after use.
  • Keeping track freezers and refrigerators at the correct temperature.
  • Ensuring the effective and regular removal of waste materials to the designated waste bins.

Kitchen Assistant
Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assist on day-to-day operations and preparation.
  • Prepare food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, and given instructions.
  • Participate in product development and controlling the operation of the kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook food in all areas of the kitchen.
  • Responsible for the control of food quality.
  • Keep the kitchen and cooking area tidy and clean, using the ‘clean as you go’ approach to be more effective and efficient
  • Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene
  • Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
  • Organizing and correctly storing food supplies.
  • Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
  • Any other Ad-Hoc duties given by superiors
Job Requirements
  • Singaporeans & PR ONLY
  • Able to work 6 days per week 
  • 2 years relevant experience for chef // 6 months to 1-year relevant experience for Kitchen Assistant
  • Present a positive and professional attitude at all times.
