Spa Attendant

Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Give detailed tour of spa area, provide explanation on when and how to use all spa amenities and facilities
  • Guide guest at appropriate times to location to meet service provider
  • Provide warm and sincere closing upon completion of service sequence
  • Learn and use guests’ name whenever possible
  • Adjust service to suit guests’ requests, personalised to meet their needs
  • Use a Heartist® approach – make the guests Feel Welcome, Feel Heart-Warmed, Feel Incredible and Belong
  • Monitor guests’ use of facilities and ensure their safety
  • Efficiency of work to keep work area clean and tidy at all times
  • Maintain an ample supply of massage oils, professional products, towels, sheets and other necessary items
  • Timeliness in reporting dysfunctional equipment to supervisor for follow-up
  • Assist with treatment types and retail product recommendation whenever consulted
  • Efficiency of work to maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, spa preparation room, retail display cabinets etc.
  • Cleanliness and work safety in equipment handling, beverage preparation and service areas
  • Participate in training activities to improve knowledge and skills
  • Follow guidelines provided in Colleague Handbook
  • Understand emergency procedures, health & safety requirements, lost & found procedures
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues & supervisors /managers
Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in related club or spa environment
  • Spoken and written English
  • Interpersonal skills
  • People-oriented and Team player
  • Able to work under pressure and independently
  • Looks presentable
