Job Description

Reporting to Senior Manager, Finance & Business Support, this position will serve as the primary liaison point between customers and the company to handle telephone and internet inquiries, receive purchase orders and correspondences related to sales orders and verify the inventory for product availability inclusive of arranging for shipment booking and preparing shipping documentation. The incumbent will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with current and potential domestic and international accounts to maximize the sales of the Company’s products.

Responsibilities:

Manage and support specific assigned customer accounts and provide support for internal and external customers
Act as the primary contact to handle telephone and internet inquiries, all correspondences related to sales orders and verify the pricing and availability of products
Handle sales orders and sales invoice billing inclusive of processing orders in the MRP system and updating customers on shipment quantity and confirmed shipment dates
Maintain the database of customer profiles and conduct a regular review of account and order history reviews for customer forecasting
Drive customer engagement by providing value-added information in a consistent and timely manner
Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver smooth daily customer care and shipping operations in accordance with the existing Operating Agreements
Report major discrepancies, late shipments, substitutions, damages, and other issues as and when necessary
Monitor and follow up on customers’ accounts receivables issues

Job Requirements

Diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline with at least 3 to 4 years of customer service experience in the trading and/or shipping industry
Customer orientation with good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office app
