Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responds to all day to day sales inquiries by guests via email and telephone
  • Prepares wedding and corporate event order documents to be submitted to relevant departments
  • Prepares collaterals required for confirmed private, corporate and wedding events
  • Develops customer profiles and maintains an effective trace system, in order to best meet the clients’ needs
  • Conduct site inspection of property for potential corporate/wedding clients and provide necessary collaterals and information.
  • Prepare and follow up on contracts for confirmed events and itinerary
  • Conduct pre-event briefings
  • Maximizes revenue by selling all facets of the hotel and restaurants
  • Ensure deposit and full payment for confirmed events are followed through as per SOP
  • Maintains and keeps accurate sales and marketing records and reports
  • Perform event post mortem with clients and operations team
  • Prepares information for a sales meetings
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Monitor and respond to all social media inquiries
  • Assist with other ad-hoc sales and marketing related task
  • Maintains open communication with all co-workers for the best guest experience
  • Conducts surveys and studies the market place and territories in order to capitalize on the hotel’s and restaurant strengths
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Communication/Public Relations is preferred
  • Prior experience in wedding events is an added advantage
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign is an added advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Willing to learn and positively minded
