Job Description

Supervises the administration and implementation of HR programs and processes.  Attends to internal needs related to recruiting and selection, training and development, salary and benefits administration, and labour relations, employee services, health and safety, and other HR functional areas.

Recruitment & selection

Manpower planning including managing recruitment activities such as recommending sourcing channels to source the right candidates, liaison with vendors, government agencies and portals

Compensation & Benefits Management

  • Implementing annual increment, updating employee handbook based on new guidelines from MOM, renew employee insurance and submit claims to insurer, maintain employee changes in the HRIS, making offers of employment, onboarding/offboarding, issuing of uniforms to new staff and annual change of uniform, propose merit increment for budget input.
  • Coordinate health and disability insurance enrollments, communicate with service providers concerning renewal, claims experience and routine administration of programs. 

Learning & Development

  • Define learning and development needs based on business and staff capability needs. Guide line managers in their understanding and usage of performance management policy, framework and processes
  • Ensure all kitchen staff have the requisite hygiene certification and Chef auditor for each outlet to be appointed.
  • Facilitate talent review sessions with MD and line managers to identify and manage high-performing individuals for mission critical roles within the organisation

 HR Advisory Services

  • Provide HR advisory services to Outlet Managers in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change and all other employee relations matters
  • Maintains compliance with MOM employment regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law
Job Requirements

Diploma holder with five years HR experience

Knowledge of Singapore employee laws
