As a Room Attendant, you are responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel guest rooms. You will also make sure that the guest room amenities are fully replenished.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Carrying out detailed cleaning of hotel rooms and suites according to standard operating procedures
- Making sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guests
- Assisting guest with their request for room amenities and directional to find the elevator
- Keeping supervisor updated on room cleaning progress and alert them to any problem or repairs needed
- Monitoring and controlling supplies and amenities to minimise waste
- Reporting, turning in, and/or logging all lost and found items according to established procedures
- Regularly assisting with deep clean projects
What we need from you
- It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects
- You may need to bend and kneel to complete some job activities
- Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic maths skills
- Flexible attitude to work rotating shifts hours over weekends and public holidays
